Topcon Value Line Steering is an affordable GPS autosteer system that brings big-farm technology to smaller operations. It suits most front wheel assist, front wheel steer and rear wheel steer tractors across nearly every brand.
The system combines a touchscreen display (7-inch XC1 or 10-inch XC1 plus), the XR-1 GNSS receiver, the XW-1 electric steering wheel and a correction service. Farmers pay only for the accuracy they need: Starpoint up to 15 cm, Starpoint Pro 2.5 cm, Realpoint 2 cm, or a HiPer VR or MR-2 base station 1 cm. As a guide, soil preparation needs around 30 cm, harvest 15 cm, crop care 10 cm and seeding 4 cm.
It’s quick to install and easy to swap between machines, and a virtual wheel angle sensor keeps cost and setup simple. Durable hardware suits open-cab tractors, and terrain compensation maintains accuracy in tough conditions.
It supports straight, curved, centre pivot and custom guidance lines. Steer to Boundary builds a line from the paddock edge, Guidelock follows the previous pass to prevent overlap, and Headland Turns automatically turns the tractor and lines up the next pass.
The easy-to-use Horizon Lite software offers optional unlocks. ISOBUS Implement Control provides automatic section control and mapping for implements with up to 32 sections, and enables Variable Rate Control from prescription maps. Topcon’s ISOBUS solutions also offer tillage depth control and boom height control to reduce spray drift.
